Role Overview
Apply your technology-transactions experience to improve how advanced AI handles real-world contract work. In this remote, part-time contractor role, you will help train and evaluate AI systems through contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining workflows, with a focus on improving risk identification, contract interpretation, precision, and legal judgment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves model performance and output precision.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for rigorous, consistent assessment of AI contract-task performance.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 3 years of technology-transactions experience, particularly negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology contracts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability and the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
- Experience at a corporate law firm.
Work Terms
- Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $80 to $200 per hour.
