Role Overview

Evaluate AI-generated legal reasoning across a broad range of civil justice matters by reviewing realistic scenarios, identifying gaps in legal analysis, and providing structured expert feedback to improve accuracy and practical usefulness. The work focuses on housing, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, and bankruptcy, and is well suited to attorneys with nonprofit advocacy, civil litigation, or impact litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review AI-generated legal analyses for legal accuracy and practical usefulness.
  • Evaluate scenarios involving housing, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, and bankruptcy.
  • Assess issue spotting, legal reasoning, procedural correctness, and litigation strategy.
  • Identify legal errors and recommend concrete improvements to reasoning or approach.
  • Deliver structured written evaluations documenting findings and suggested edits.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Active U.S. bar admission.
  • At least 5 years of practice in public interest law or civil litigation.
  • Strong background in civil legal advocacy.
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at nonprofit legal organizations or in impact litigation.
  • Expertise in employment law, elder law, or disability rights.
  • Experience with policy advocacy or systemic reform efforts.
  • Experience supervising attorneys or legal fellows.
  • Interest in legal AI or emerging legal technology.
Work Terms
  • Location: Remote, United States.
  • Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
  • Estimated project duration: 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Engagement type: Hourly.
Compensation

Pay rate: $150 per hour.
