Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and contract-redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves accuracy, precision, and legal judgment.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on contract-related tasks.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
- Help shape how AI is trained, evaluated, and used in legal practice, drawing on experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related agreements.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
- Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
- Experience with contract negotiation, drafting, and redlining.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
- Experience working with private equity firms.
- Remote, part-time independent contractor role.
- $90 to $150 per hour.
