Role Overview
Provide subject-matter immigration law expertise to evaluate, draft, and refine legal content that will be used to train and validate next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on supplying accurate, well-reasoned legal analysis and feedback so models learn and perform correctly. No prior experience with AI is required, domain knowledge in immigration law is the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex immigration law scenarios and explain relevant legal principles and outcomes.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and case summaries related to immigration matters.
- Assess accuracy, clarity, and completeness of AI-generated content on immigration law topics.
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback on legal concepts, terminology, procedures, and reasoning.
- Work with project managers and technical teams using written and verbal communication to clarify intent and ensure legal accuracy.
- Recommend improvements to project guidelines and evaluation criteria based on expert legal perspective.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing to raise the quality of AI-driven legal outputs.
- Demonstrated expertise in immigration law, including experience with family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian matters, is strongly preferred.
- Experience in legal writing, document review, and producing clear, precise written analyses.
- Familiarity with legal research tools, case management software, and document review platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce well-reasoned, accurate legal content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and provide constructive feedback.
- Interest in or prior participation in technology-driven legal projects is a plus, but not required.
- An active license to practice law with a focus on immigration law is preferred.
