This role applies your legal expertise to create original, in-depth legal documents that will be used to train next-generation AI systems. You will author memos, case analyses, contracts, policy papers, and other substantive legal materials that demonstrate technical legal reasoning, issue spotting, and practical drafting skills. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge and document quality are the focus.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality, professionally structured legal documents in PDF or Word format, including textual analysis and multimodal elements such as tables, charts, diagrams, or figures.
- Author original materials that reflect deep legal analysis and issue spotting, ensuring submissions are not copied from the internet or generated synthetically.
- Provide a variety of document types and lengths, with examples ideally ranging from 10 to 100 pages and reflecting real-world legal work.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and observe privilege considerations when preparing and sharing materials.
- Participate in feedback cycles to clarify content or improve document utility for model training, and provide written and verbal updates or explanations as requested.
- Practising lawyer, legal researcher, compliance consultant, or other legal professional with hands-on document drafting and legal analysis experience.
- Proven skills in legal analysis and issue spotting, and strong legal writing ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
- Experience drafting memos, case briefs, contracts, policy analyses, or similar substantive legal documents.
- Ability to incorporate tables, diagrams, or other multimodal elements into written work.
- Clear understanding of confidentiality obligations, attorney-client privilege, and data privacy considerations when sharing legal materials.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication for project-related correspondence and feedback.
- Backgrounds in compliance, policy, intellectual property, regulatory, or corporate law are a plus.

- Pay rate, $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.
- This is an independent contractor role, applicants must be able to enter into contractor agreements and receive contractor payments.
- No prior AI experience required, domain expertise in law is the primary qualification.
