Role Overview

Apply your family law expertise to improve AI systems that handle legal content. As a remote contractor on a customer-focused project, you will produce precise legal inputs, annotations, and reviews that shape how models learn and reason. No prior experience with AI is required, your domain knowledge and legal judgment are the core contribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate complex family law scenarios to create realistic legal inputs and annotations for AI training.
  • Draft accurate, detailed summaries of case law, statutes, and legal procedures relevant to family law practice.
  • Review, critique, and refine prompts, model responses, and legal documents generated by AI for accuracy and clarity.
  • Identify common legal reasoning patterns and pitfalls in family law to guide model improvements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams, providing written and verbal feedback on legal content and AI output quality.
  • Keep current with changes and trends in family law and incorporate relevant insights into project deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Required skills: family law expertise, legal research, legal writing, case analysis, document review, summarization, attention to detail, verbal communication, written communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Comfort with remote collaboration and using digital project management or collaboration tools, and adaptability to technology.
  • Strong organizational skills for handling nuanced legal information.
  • Preferred: active license to practice law and significant experience in family law matters such as custody, divorce, support, and adoption.
  • Preferred: experience drafting or reviewing legal memoranda, briefs, or client communications.
  • Preferred: ability to explain complex legal principles clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and an interest in legal technology.
