Apply your technology transactions expertise to help improve AI systems used for real-world contract review. This remote, part-time contractor role focuses on training and evaluating legal AI through practical drafting, negotiation, and redlining workflows.
Role Overview
You will use your in-house legal judgment to assess contract scenarios, identify risk, and help strengthen the precision and reasoning of AI-assisted legal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and contract redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, delivering expert feedback that improves output quality and precision.
- Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI contract-task performance.
- Work with product and research teams to refine training data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions.
- Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
- Corporate law firm experience in M&A or private-equity fund formation.
Work Terms
- Remote, part-time contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $90 to $150 per hour.
