About this role

Role Overview

Provide top-tier legal subject-matter expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. You will apply sophisticated legal judgment to produce, review, and refine high-quality legal content that shapes how models learn, reason, and perform. This role is remote and designed for legal professionals with prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a range of US law topics, delivering nuanced, practice-ready insights.
  • Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure current, accurate information is used.
  • Draft, review, and edit legal materials, including memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related documents.
  • Assess legal text for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices, and provide structured feedback.
  • Participate in remote, multidisciplinary collaboration to refine deliverables and address complex legal scenarios.
  • Contribute to content quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal materials.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold exceptionally high standards in all submissions.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory experience working at one or more Vault Law 100 firms, with exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes legal matters.
  • Required skills: legal analysis, legal research, legal drafting, written communication, verbal communication, content review, quality assurance, attention to detail, remote collaboration, multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Active license to practice law is preferred, along with strong academic credentials.
  • Proven track record of legal analysis, research, and drafting across varied legal subjects.
  • Experience with rubric-based evaluation or formal quality review of legal documents is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in distributed, technology-driven teams.

Compensation
  • Pay range: $140.00 to $400.00 per hour.
