Role Overview
Lead end-to-end legal and law-related projects for leading AI lab customers, turning customer needs into high-quality data pipelines, evaluations, and feedback workflows that help improve AI systems. You will partner closely with operations teams and legal subject matter experts to scope, launch, manage, and deliver complex projects in a fast-moving remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own projects from initial pipeline framing and scoping through execution and delivery.
- Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable specifications for legal workflows.
- Design and continuously improve legal-domain pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability.
- Coordinate operations teams and legal experts to enable rapid project deployment.
- Set delivery milestones and maintain a focused execution cadence.
- Manage client communications with clarity, consistency, and directness.
- Lead legal domain experts and project leads to support quality and on-time delivery.
- Provide daily internal updates covering progress, blockers, and specific next steps.
Qualifications
- J.D. or equivalent law degree required.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in legal practice, legal research, regulatory or compliance work, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or legal-related initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with attorneys and senior legal experts.
- Strong ownership, urgency, attention to detail, and ability to convert ambiguous customer needs into clear plans and rapid execution.
- Entrepreneurial, execution-oriented mindset and comfort working in a high-intensity environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI or machine learning companies, AI labs, or data annotation and evaluation projects.
- Experience managing legal, technical, or data-intensive projects.
- Familiarity with legal research, contract analysis, litigation, regulatory or compliance work, or other complex legal workflows.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, AI training workflows, and human-in-the-loop operations.
Work Terms
- Full-time, remote position.
Compensation
- The listing states annual compensation of $400, 000 to $550, 000.
- The national base salary range for this full-time role is $180, 000 to $230, 000 USD.
- Employees are eligible for equity compensation and may receive performance-based bonuses, depending on role and company policy.
