Healthcare Attorney for AI Model Training

Provide expert legal review and practical legal input to help train next-generation AI systems on U.S. healthcare law and compliance. You will analyze and annotate legal materials, draft sample legal content, and evaluate model outputs so the systems learn accurate legal reasoning and regulatory compliance. This is a remote contractor role supporting a customer-driven project; prior AI experience is not required.

• Analyze, review, and annotate healthcare legal documents and regulatory materials to support AI training objectives.
• Draft and critique sample legal content related to compliance, fraud and abuse, patient privacy, telemedicine, and related healthcare legal domains.
• Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy, clarity, and conformity with U.S. healthcare law and ethical standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback to improve legal reasoning and correctness of model responses.
• Identify emerging issues or trends in healthcare law that are relevant to the project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams using clear written and verbal communication to clarify legal concepts and ensure alignment.
• Contribute practical scenarios and real-world use cases that reflect common legal challenges in healthcare.

• Required skills: deep knowledge of healthcare law and regulatory compliance, including examples such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Experience with legal document review and annotation, policy analysis, and contract drafting in a healthcare context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal topics clearly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality legal input.
• Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and technical teams.
• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare regulatory frameworks and operational contexts, including risk management or clinical practice environments, is highly valued.
• Preferred: Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in the United States.

• Pay rate: $140.00 to $400.00 per hour.

• Candidates should have demonstrable experience advising on healthcare law, regulatory compliance, or related matters in the U.S.
• Having a JD and an active U.S. law license is listed as a preferred qualification.
