Role Overview

Apply your compliance law expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. You will produce, review, and refine high-quality legal inputs that shape how models learn, reason, and respond to U.S. compliance and regulatory scenarios. No prior AI experience is required, the role values deep domain knowledge and precise legal judgment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials to inform AI training datasets.
  • Draft detailed explanations, rationales, and model answers for complex compliance scenarios.
  • Evaluate and critique AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, logical consistency, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
  • Collaborate remotely with project leads and technical specialists to resolve nuanced regulatory questions.
  • Create scenario-based questions and answers that reflect current trends and challenges in compliance law.
  • Identify ambiguities and potential legal pitfalls in AI outputs, and recommend improvements for clarity and precision.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements to support ongoing refinement of AI training protocols.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active attorney license in good standing.
  • 3 to 15 years of recent, substantive experience practicing compliance law within the United States.
  • Demonstrated strengths in legal document analysis, legal writing, regulatory research, and U.S. law knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
  • Experience teaching law courses or legal writing at accredited law schools is a plus.
  • Editorial experience with legal journals during law school is highly valued.
Work Terms

Contractor engagement, fully remote. You will contribute expert legal knowledge to a client project focused on training and evaluating AI systems. This engagement requires remote collaboration with project teams and technical staff. Independent contractor status will apply.

Compensation

$90 to $150 per hour.

Eligibility
  • Must be U.S.-based and currently practicing in the field of compliance law.
  • Must hold an active U.S. attorney license in good standing.
