Help shape how advanced AI understands, evaluates, and performs contract work by applying deep experience in drafting, negotiating, and redlining technology agreements. In this part-time contractor role you will run simulated negotiations, evaluate AI outputs on contract scenarios, and develop objective grading frameworks that improve AI legal judgment and risk identification.
Key Responsibilities- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to generate realistic training and evaluation data.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed expert feedback to improve model accuracy and legal reasoning.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to measure AI performance on contract review tasks with rigor and consistency.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine datasets, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
- Required: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Required: Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Required: Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, with substantive experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability and experience translating legal judgment into actionable feedback for systems or teams.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments and a commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Preferred: Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
- Preferred: Experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or fund formation for private equity clients.

- Pay rate: $90 to $130 per hour.
