About this role

Role Overview

Apply your in-house technology transactions experience to improve how advanced AI systems interpret contract language, identify risk, and support real-world legal work. In this part-time, remote contractor role, you will help train and evaluate AI through contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
  • Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves precision and performance.
  • Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for consistent, rigorous assessment of AI contract-task performance.
  • Partner with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, including negotiation of MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
  • Strong contract drafting, deal negotiation, and contract review capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
  • A demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
  • Corporate law firm experience in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.

Work Terms

  • Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

  • $80 to $105 per hour.
