Role Overview

Provide expert transactional legal review and contract negotiation work to improve how advanced AI systems read, assess, and redline commercial technology agreements. This part-time contractor role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology contracts so AI models learn to identify legal risk and apply precise legal judgment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises for technology agreements.
  • Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, offering detailed expert feedback to improve model accuracy and legal reasoning.
  • Contribute to contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate state of the art AI models.
  • Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to measure AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI driven contract review solutions.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of in house experience focused on technology transactions, with direct experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical ability and experience translating legal expertise into actionable feedback for systems and cross disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
  • Experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.
Work Terms
  • Employment type: Contractor, part time.

Compensation
  • Hourly rate: $80.00 to $105.00 per hour.
Eligibility
  • Must hold a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and be actively admitted to at least one U.S. bar.
  • Minimum 3 years of in house technology transactions experience, including negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
