Join a dynamic team as a Funds Attorney, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of legal AI. This part-time, remote position is designed for experienced attorneys who are passionate about leveraging their expertise in fund management and contract law to enhance AI systems. Your contributions will directly influence how advanced AI models are trained, evaluated, and applied in real-world legal contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
  • Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
  • Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to rigorously assess AI performance on contract tasks.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
  • Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
Work Terms:

This is a contractor position with flexible hours, allowing you to work remotely.

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $80 to $105, commensurate with experience.

Applicants must have an active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
