Senior Litigation Attorney (US)

Apply senior-level US litigation expertise to help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems through realistic, complex commercial-dispute simulations. This remote contract role relies on practical legal judgment, adversarial reasoning, and case-team leadership. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic multi-turn litigation scenarios, including facts, parties, legal issues, procedural posture, and initiating documents.
• Direct junior legal contributors preparing briefs, motions, discovery strategies, and demand letters.
• Review and approve junior and peer-level work as a neutral evaluator, ensuring each simulated dispute turn meets a high professional standard.
• Develop and refine litigation-stage evaluation rubrics and convert practical legal expertise into clear AI assessment benchmarks.
• Identify ambiguities, edge cases, and procedural complexities that test AI performance, then provide actionable project feedback.
• Collaborate with team leads and legal peers as scenario requirements evolve.
• Use only public or synthetic materials and never include client-confidential information.

Qualifications

• Active or lapsed bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of hands-on US litigation experience, including courtroom advocacy, discovery, motion practice, and case-team leadership.
• Deep expertise in commercial contract disputes, shareholder or LLC disputes, or commercial real estate litigation. Experience across multiple areas is preferred.
• Command of the full litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, and resolution strategy.
• Exceptional legal writing, verbal communication, formal drafting, litigation strategy, and adversarial reasoning skills.
• Ability to review and direct junior legal work without personally redrafting it.
• Adaptability in a collaborative, remote-first environment with evolving project requirements.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement for candidates located in the United States.
• Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, so candidates should be ready to begin promptly.

Compensation

• $100 to $150 per hour.
