About this role

Role Overview

Apply your commercial real estate litigation expertise to create and evaluate realistic, multi-turn dispute materials that help improve AI systems'' legal reasoning and performance. This remote, US-based contract role centers on producing high-quality work grounded in real litigation practice. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft authentic litigation work product, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery, for evolving commercial real estate disputes.
  • Produce turn-by-turn deliverables under senior direction, similar to submitting drafts for partner review in practice.
  • Develop and document rubrics alongside drafts, defining what constitutes strong responses to opposing counsel submissions.
  • Incorporate senior feedback efficiently in each round with minimal redirection.
  • Maintain continuity of case theory and litigation posture across multiple engagement turns.
  • Identify and flag procedural questions, missing information, and factual ambiguities requiring senior or team-lead resolution.

Qualifications

  • Active or lapsed US attorney license, with admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years of post-JD litigation experience, with substantial drafting, discovery, and motion-practice experience rather than solely transactional work.
  • Experience with commercial real estate litigation involving leases, transactions, development, landlord-tenant matters, zoning, or financing and security interests.
  • Ability to draft complex litigation documents under direction in commercial real estate disputes.
  • Excellent English writing skills, including strong legal analysis and command of legal writing conventions.
  • US law knowledge, legal drafting skill, litigation mastery, and the ability to apply case theory.
  • Experience at a large, boutique, or mid-market firm and exposure to multiple matter types are advantageous.
  • Experience with AI-based legal projects or federal-court commercial litigation is a plus.

Work Terms

  • Remote contract engagement for candidates based in the United States.
  • Roles are commonly filled within 48 hours, so applicants should be prepared to begin promptly.

Compensation

$100 to $150 per hour.

Application Process

Selected candidates will complete the required onboarding steps and should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours afterward.
