Role Overview

Apply your shareholder and LLC litigation expertise to help train next-generation AI systems using high-quality, real-world legal analysis. This remote contract role supports litigation-focused work involving commercial disputes among owners and entities. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials for evolving commercial-dispute scenarios under senior direction.
  • Develop and refine case theories and litigation strategies as facts and instructions develop.
  • Define evaluation criteria for strong, effective legal responses at each stage of a matter.
  • Incorporate senior feedback efficiently and maintain high-quality work across complex assignments.
  • Flag ambiguities, missing facts, and procedural obstacles for senior contributors or project leads.
  • Work only with public or synthetic case materials while maintaining confidentiality and sound legal practices.
  • Prepare deliverables that reflect real-world litigation assignments for supervising-partner review.

Qualifications

  • Current or prior bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years of post-JD, hands-on litigation experience, including legal drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. law, litigation practice, legal drafting, case-theory development, and shareholder or LLC disputes.
  • Experience with owner or entity disputes involving fiduciary duty, oppression, buyouts, and governance matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work product in shareholder or LLC dispute matters.
  • Exceptional written English and strong legal drafting and argumentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize direction and feedback while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Federal court experience, work across multiple matter types, or AI training and evaluation experience is beneficial.

Work Terms

  • Remote contract engagement for U.S.-based professionals.
  • Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and selected candidates should be ready to begin promptly.
  • Selected candidates are expected to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing required onboarding.

Compensation

$100 to $150 per hour.
