About this role

Apply your commercial litigation expertise to help evaluate and improve AI systems through realistic, multi-turn commercial contract dispute scenarios. This remote contract opportunity centers on producing high-quality legal analysis and work product, with no prior AI experience required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, discovery materials, and related litigation documents for complex commercial contract disputes based on detailed scenario prompts.
  • Respond to simulated opposing-counsel actions while maintaining a consistent case theory and litigation strategy across multiple rounds.
  • Create evaluation criteria for each draft that define strong, persuasive responses under U.S. commercial litigation standards.
  • Revise work in response to senior feedback as facts and strategy develop.
  • Flag procedural issues, missing facts, and ambiguities for project-lead guidance.
  • Use only public or synthetic case materials and uphold confidentiality and ethical obligations.
Qualifications
  • Active or lapsed license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years of substantive post-JD litigation experience focused on commercial contract disputes.
  • Hands-on experience drafting motions, discovery, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Ability to produce litigation work product under supervision with minimal repeated direction.
  • Experience with contract breach, performance, interpretation, or damages disputes.
  • Exceptional written English and strong command of legal drafting and litigation practice.
  • Law firm experience, including BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market firms, is a plus.
  • Federal court experience and prior AI training or evaluation work are advantageous.
Work Terms
  • Independent contractor engagement.
  • Remote role for candidates based in the United States.
  • Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and candidates should be ready to begin promptly.
Compensation
  • $100 - $150 per hour.
