Litigator for AI Legal Model Training

Apply your litigation and legal practice expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated legal content used in tools at the intersection of law and emerging technology. You will review briefs, arguments, and memos for legal and factual accuracy, provide written edits and reasoned feedback, and help calibrate model behavior on complex or ambiguous legal issues. No prior AI experience is required.

• Evaluate AI outputs such as briefs, legal arguments, and memos for factual accuracy, legal reasoning, and adherence to professional standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback that identifies errors, logical gaps, and opportunities to strengthen analysis.
• Contribute expert judgment on ambiguous, edge, or nuanced legal scenarios to inform model calibration.
• Draft or edit sample legal language and arguments to improve model understanding of litigation and practice scenarios.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a cross-functional project team, incorporate iterative feedback, and communicate clearly in writing.

• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3 to 15 years of post-JD legal experience, with preference for candidates experienced in trial, appellate, or litigation practice.
• Substantial trial experience, federal court admissions, or appellate practice background are strong positives.
• Judicial clerkship experience at the federal or state level is highly valued.
• Proven legal writing ability, law journal editing, or published legal authorship is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex legal concepts with clarity, precision, and professionalism.
• Prior teaching or instruction in legal education is desirable but not required.
• Required skills: legal reasoning, litigation and practice expertise, analytical rigor, calibration in ambiguous cases, legal writing, and communication precision.

• Pay rate: $100 to $150 per hour.
