About this role

Role Overview

Apply your M&A and corporate law expertise to help train next generation AI systems through high quality, real world legal analysis. This remote contractor opportunity focuses on improving how AI models reason about transaction structures, deal documentation, private equity matters, and related corporate litigation. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and annotate complex M&A and corporate law scenarios for AI model training.
  • Conduct detailed legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation topics.
  • Review, comment on, and refine datasets for legal accuracy and real world relevance.
  • Provide written feedback on legal reasoning, transaction structures, and deal documentation.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to add context and clarify legal nuances.
  • Participate in remote project discussions and iterative quality assurance activities.
  • Help develop evaluation rubrics and best practices when requested.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school and active admission to a US bar.
  • Experience practicing M&A law at an Am Law 100 or another leading US law firm.
  • Extensive experience with M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate advisory work.
  • Corporate or transactional litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and transaction document review skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools and a commitment to meticulous, high quality work.

Work Terms

  • Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

$140 to $400 per hour.
