Contract Attorney

Apply your technology-contract expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems used in real-world legal work. This remote, part-time contract opportunity focuses on improving how AI interprets contract language, identifies risk, and supports precise legal judgment.

You will contribute legal expertise to contract redlining workflows that train and assess advanced AI models. The work is especially suited to attorneys with substantial experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology agreements.

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves accuracy and precision.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Partner with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
• Help shape how AI is trained, evaluated, and applied in legal practice.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of experience with technology contracts, including negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability and the capacity to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.

• Remote, part-time contractor engagement.

• $80 to $130 per hour.
