Role Overview

Apply your legal expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through nuanced, high-quality real-world legal input. This remote contract opportunity focuses on improving how AI models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts in detail, identifying risks, ambiguities, and opportunities to improve language.
• Research relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to inform project requirements.
• Draft, edit, and assess legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Analyze regulatory compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions and provide guidance aligned with applicable legal standards.
• Develop clear written explanations and rationales for legal positions and decisions.
• Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal channels to clarify complex legal concepts.
• Review legal data and provide feedback that improves AI training materials over time.

Qualifications

• Active law license, including bar admission, with at least 5 years of practice in contract law, compliance, or a closely related specialty.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract review, legal research, regulatory compliance, and legal writing.
• Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, with close attention to legal nuance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts to legal and non-legal audiences.
• Comfort interpreting laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-focused environment.
• Familiarity with legal technology tools is helpful but not required.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $60 to $75 per hour.
