Role Overview
Apply your in-house technology transactions experience to help train and evaluate AI systems for real-world legal work. This part-time, remote contractor role focuses on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining, helping improve how AI identifies risk, interprets contract language, and delivers precise legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve output quality and precision.
- Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions, including negotiation of MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal judgment into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.
Work Terms
- Remote, part-time contractor engagement.
- Work is task-based. Each task has an average handling time of approximately 3.5 hours.
Compensation
- $90 to $130 per hour.
- Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Effective hourly earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and approved.
