About this role
Help shape how advanced legal AI systems read, judge, and negotiate fund-related contracts by applying real-world fund formation and fund management expertise to training and evaluation workflows. In this part-time contractor role you will perform realistic contract redlining and negotiation exercises, assess AI outputs for accuracy and risk, and develop objective evaluation criteria so models produce legally precise results.

Experts from domains such as finance, healthcare, and STEM contribute subject matter knowledge that is transformed into training data, evaluations, and feedback loops to improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. The platform identifies and vets top talent through an AI recruiter to enable scaled expert contributions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises focused on fund documents and related tech agreements.
- Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, identifying errors, omissions, and risk assessments.
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve model outputs and legal judgment.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks, grading criteria, and rubrics to measure AI performance on contract tasks with consistency and rigor.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Required
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
- Familiarity with standard M&A and fund-related agreements, including limited partnership agreements (LPAs), subscription agreements, and side letters.
- Demonstrated skills in fund management, fund formation, contract redlining, and contract negotiations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and advanced analytical ability to translate legal expertise into clear feedback for AI systems.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
Preferred
- Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or participation in model training or evaluation initiatives.

- Pay range, 90 to 130 USD per hour.
- Must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be actively admitted to at least one U.S. bar.
- Minimum experience requirement, at least 2 years in a corporate law firm funds department.
