About this role
Role Overview
Help improve the safety of advanced AI systems by applying PhD-level scientific expertise to evaluate and strengthen their handling of specialized technical topics in Turkish. Training is provided, and prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Write expert-level Turkish prompts across specialized scientific subjects.
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate treatment of sensitive content.
- Use structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
Qualifications
- Current or completed PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, with sufficient depth to develop prompts involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear topics.
- Native or near-native Turkish fluency and business-level written English.
- Strong familiarity with current laboratory and computational techniques in your scientific subfield.
- Sound judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred Background
- Based in Türkiye or the wider MENA region, though applicants elsewhere are welcome.
- Chemistry-based radiological or nuclear expertise, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.
- Deep specialization in an area such as organic or inorganic synthesis, molecular biology, microbiology, virology, or genetics.
- Research or coursework in chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling.
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
Work Terms
- Remote, with preference for candidates in Türkiye or the MENA region.
- Hourly engagement.
- Immediate start date.
Compensation
$30 to $34 per hour.
