Role Overview

Create high-quality French and English audio data that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on recording, reviewing, and documenting realistic voice and environmental audio samples while following detailed technical, privacy, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Record clear audio clips in French and English using provided scripts and prompts.
• Listen to and assess audio samples, giving accurate feedback on clarity and intelligibility.
• Create recordings in varied settings, including a stationary car or quiet office, to provide realistic environmental data.
• Produce requested background sounds, such as paper rustling or surface tapping, safely and clearly.
• Follow recording, data privacy, safety, and technical project guidelines.
• Document and submit completed audio files with all required metadata.
• Work remotely with project coordinators, respond to feedback, and ensure deliverables meet technical standards.

Qualifications

• Native-level French proficiency, including strong spoken and written communication.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear spoken and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow precise technical instructions.
• Exceptional attention to recording quality and documentation detail.
• Ability to create authentic background sounds as directed.
• Comfort using remote collaboration tools and digital file-submission platforms.
• Previous audio-recording or voice-over experience is an advantage.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
