Help improve next-generation AI systems by applying your Italian language expertise to real-world audio evaluation and feedback. This remote contract role focuses on assessing Italian speech quality and providing clear English-language documentation that supports AI language understanding and generation.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to Italian audio clips and evaluate speaker or model-output nativeness and fluency.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
- Write clear, concise feedback in English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.
- Provide detailed justification for each assessment to support consistent evaluation results.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
- Contribute insights that improve AI performance in Italian language understanding and generation.
- Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.
- Native-level Italian proficiency, with strong spoken and written language skills.
- At least B2-level English proficiency, including written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language differences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.
- Experience in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
- Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.
- Remote contract engagement.
- No previous AI experience is required. Relevant language and domain expertise are the priority.
- $30 to $65 per hour.
