Role Overview
Help improve next-generation AI systems by reviewing French audio and transcripts with precision. This remote contract role focuses on producing accurate, linguistically rich transcription data, annotations, and feedback that support AI training and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, correct, and refine machine-generated French transcriptions for accuracy and linguistic integrity.
- Add detailed metadata tags and linguistic annotations to transcripts for advanced data uses.
- Analyze audio closely to identify nuances, dialects, and errors that automated tools may miss.
- Work with the customer team to maintain quality standards and meet project goals.
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain careful, consistent work across transcription and annotation tasks.
- Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Qualifications
- Fluency in French as used in France, with excellent comprehension and written expression.
- Demonstrated transcription experience, including correcting and improving machine-generated output.
- Experience applying metadata tags and linguistic annotations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal French communication skills and professional-level English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating effectively with a customer team.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Knowledge of language technologies or machine learning data workflows.
- Experience collaborating with multicultural or distributed remote teams.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $10 to $25 per hour.
