Tamil Language Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by reviewing Tamil-language audio and providing precise linguistic feedback. This remote contract role draws on your native Tamil expertise to evaluate how naturally and fluently speakers or model outputs communicate.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and assess speaker or model-output nativeness and fluency.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Write clear, concise English feedback that identifies relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed rationale for each evaluation to support consistent, understandable results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve language-content ambiguities.
• Share insights that support improvements in Tamil language understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Tamil proficiency, including strong spoken and written command.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above, particularly for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
