About this role
Role Overview
Provide natural, expressive Swiss German voice recordings that help train and evaluate advanced text-to-speech systems for an internal customer experience AI agent. Your recordings will be used only for this specific internal use case and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for other products, datasets, or purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts.
- Deliver clear, natural speech with strong control of tone, pacing, pronunciation, intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery throughout recording sessions.
- Follow recording requirements for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Complete multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when requested.
Qualifications
- Native Swiss German speaker currently based in Switzerland.
- Clear, natural, expressive voice. Voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is welcome but not required.
- Professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- Ability to follow scripts accurately while keeping delivery natural.
- Comfort with your voice being cloned for the client’s CX AI agent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio-editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm delivery.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- One recording session of approximately 4 hours.
- A similar additional session may be available later.
- This is an ongoing opening, with new voices considered on a rolling basis. Applications are welcome at any time.
Compensation
$50 to $150 per hour.
