Role Overview
Provide high-quality Swiss German voice recordings to train and evaluate a next-generation text-to-speech system for a client''s internal CX AI agent. This role focuses on delivering consistent, expressive, and clean audio across varied scripts. Recordings may be used to create a cloned voice for that internal CX AI agent and will be used exclusively for that purpose, not sold, licensed, or reused for other products or datasets.
Key Responsibilities- Record high-quality voice samples across diverse scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material
- Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech, with control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
- Follow detailed recording guidelines for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
- Provide multiple takes and variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when requested
- Native Swiss German speaker currently based in Switzerland
- Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
- Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range; ability to follow scripts precisely while keeping a natural delivery
- Reliable availability of 5-10 hours per week over the project duration
- Willingness to allow voice cloning specifically for the client''s CX AI agent; recordings will not be used outside that specific use case
- Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
- Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
- Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm
- Remote position, candidate must be based in Switzerland
- Hourly engagement with an expected commitment of 5-10 hours per week during the project
- Recordings will follow project recording guidelines and may require multiple sessions
- 50 to 150 hourly
- Must be a native Swiss German speaker currently residing in Switzerland
