Role Overview
Provide high-quality, expressive Canadian French voice recordings to train and evaluate a next-generation text to speech system for a client internal CX AI Agent. Recordings will support conversational and instructional use cases, and may be used to create a voice clone for that agent. This is a remote, Canada-only opportunity for experienced voice actors, narrators, or broadcasters who can deliver neutral international French as well as native Canadian French delivery with consistent tone and clarity.
Key Responsibilities- Record clear, natural, and expressive speech across varied scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material.
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery across sessions.
- Follow detailed recording guidelines regarding environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Perform multiple takes with controlled variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when requested.
- Deliver recordings that are clean and ready for model training, adhering to specified technical requirements.
- Native Canadian French speaker currently residing in Canada.
- Ability to speak international French, neutral and without a strong regional accent.
- Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- Strong command of intonation, diction, pacing, and emotional range.
- Access to a professional or near professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording space, and basic accessories such as a pop filter.
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while keeping a natural delivery.
- Experience recording for TTS systems, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to produce multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.
- Location: Remote, candidate must be based in Canada.
- Employment type: hourly.
- Expected commitment: approximately 5 to 10 hours per week.
- Recording sessions and scheduling will be coordinated according to project needs and availability.
- Rate: 50 hourly.
- Your recordings will be used exclusively to train and evaluate the client internal CX AI Agent. They will not be sold, licensed, or reused for other products, datasets, or purposes.
- By applying, you must be comfortable with your voice being cloned for the client internal CX AI Agent use case. Please do not apply if you are not willing to permit voice cloning for this specific purpose.
