Role Overview
Record clear, natural, expressive Standard French voice samples that help train and evaluate text-to-speech systems for an internal CX AI Agent. Your recordings will be used only for this specific internal use case and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for another product, dataset, or purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts.
- Deliver precise pronunciation, natural pacing, and expressive tone.
- Maintain consistent voice quality, accent, and delivery across sessions.
- Follow recording requirements for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Provide multiple takes with varied emotion, emphasis, and style when requested.
Qualifications
- Native or native-level French fluency with a standard, neutral, accent-free delivery, without a strong regional accent or foreign-language influence.
- A clear, natural, expressive voice and strong intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- Ability to follow scripts accurately while sounding natural.
- Professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- Voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is valued but not required.
- Experience with TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, AI voice datasets, audio-editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper, and multiple vocal styles is preferred.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement open to qualified speakers worldwide.
- One recording session of approximately 4 hours.
- A second session of similar length may be offered based on client needs, but is not guaranteed.
- This is an ongoing, rolling opportunity. Submit an application to be considered as new voice recording needs are opened.
Compensation
$50 to $100 per hour.
