Role Overview
Provide high-quality native American English voice recordings to train and evaluate next-generation text-to-speech systems and customer experience AI agents. This role suits experienced voice actors, narrators, or broadcasters who can deliver consistent, expressive, and clean audio across varied scripts and recording sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Record clear, natural, and expressive voice samples across diverse script types, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material
- Control tone, pacing, diction, and pronunciation to produce natural-sounding delivery
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions
- Follow detailed recording guidelines regarding recording environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
- Perform multiple takes as requested, providing variations in emotion, emphasis, and style
- Adhere to scripts precisely while keeping delivery natural
- Native American English speaker currently based in the United States
- Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
- Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
- Reliable availability for 5-10 hours per week over the project duration
- Experience recording for text-to-speech, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
- Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
- Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm
- Remote role, work performed from the United States
- Hourly engagement, flexible scheduling within the required weekly commitment
- Expected time commitment: approximately 5 to 10 hours per week for the project duration
- $50.00 per hour
- Must be based in the United States and be a native American English speaker
