Role Overview
Record expressive German-language voice samples that help develop an internal customer-experience AI agent. Your recordings will be used only for this specific internal CX AI use case and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for another product, dataset, or purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts.
- Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with strong tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery throughout recording sessions.
- Follow recording requirements for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Complete multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when needed.
Qualifications
- Native German speaker currently based in Germany.
- Clear, natural, expressive voice. Voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is beneficial but not required.
- Professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- Strong intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while sounding natural.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio-editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm delivery.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- One recording session of approximately four hours, with the possibility of a further session of similar length.
- This is an ongoing opening with new voices considered on a rolling basis. Apply to be considered for upcoming recording sessions.
Compensation
$50 to $100 per hour.
