Role Overview
Provide high-quality, natural, and expressive Australian English voice recordings to help train and evaluate a next-generation text-to-speech system used for a client internal CX AI Agent. This role emphasizes consistency across sessions, precise script delivery, and the ability to produce multiple emotional and stylistic variations. Recordings will be used only for the client internal CX AI Agent and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for any other product, dataset, or purpose.
Key Responsibilities- Record clear, natural, and expressive voice samples from a range of scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material.
- Maintain consistent voice, accent, pacing, and delivery across sessions.
- Follow detailed recording guidelines regarding environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Perform multiple takes when requested, providing variations in emotion, emphasis, and style.
- Deliver audio that is clean, free of background noise, and meets quality specs provided by the project.
- Native English speaker with an authentic Australian accent, currently based in Australia.
- Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording environment, and basic accessories such as a pop filter.
- Strong control of intonation, diction, pacing, and emotional range; ability to follow scripts precisely while sounding natural.
- Reliable availability for 5-10 hours per week over the project duration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recording for text-to-speech, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.
- Remote work, must be located in Australia and able to record locally.
- Hourly engagement, expected commitment approximately 5-10 hours per week for the duration of the project.
- Must follow provided recording specifications for environment, file format, and delivery process.
- 50 per hour, paid on an hourly basis.
- Applicants must be current residents of Australia and native English speakers with authentic Australian accents.
