Northern UK Female Voice Actor for AI Voice Cloning

Provide high-quality, expressive Northern English voice recordings used to train and evaluate a next-generation text-to-speech system for an internal customer experience AI agent at a leading AI research lab. This role focuses on authentic Northern UK accents and requires consistent, clean, emotive delivery across multiple sessions.

• Record clear, natural, and expressive voice samples across diverse scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material.
• Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery between and within recording sessions.
• Control tone, pacing, pronunciation, and emotional range to match direction.
• Follow detailed recording guidelines regarding environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
• Provide multiple takes when requested, with controlled variations in emphasis and style.

• Female voice actor with a natural, authentic Northern English accent, based in the northern UK. Examples include Yorkshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool.
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, for example a quality microphone, quiet recording environment, and pop filter.
• Strong intonation, clear diction, and the ability to deliver emotional nuance.
• Ability to follow scripts precisely while keeping delivery natural.
• Reliable availability for 5-10 hours per week over the project duration.
• Consent to voice cloning for the client’s CX AI Agent is required. Only apply if you are comfortable with your voice being cloned for this specific internal use.

• Previous experience recording for text-to-speech systems, audiobooks, IVR, or AI voice datasets.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.

• Remote engagement, paid on an hourly basis.
• Expected commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week during the project period.
• Recordings must meet specified technical and performance guidelines and may require multiple sessions to ensure consistency.

• Must be female and currently located in the northern United Kingdom.
• Must be willing to have provided voice recordings used to create a cloned voice for the client’s internal CX AI Agent. Recordings and any resulting clone will be used exclusively for that internal CX AI Agent, and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for other products, datasets, or purposes.
