Role Overview

This remote contractor role contributes high-quality, real-world procurement tasks, artifacts, recommendations, and evaluation standards. No prior AI experience is required, your procurement domain knowledge is the focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and author expert-level procurement tasks involving RFP drafting, bid evaluation, supplier scoring, and contract-negotiation scenarios.
  • Source, create, and format realistic procurement artifacts, including supplier quotations, specification sheets, pricing tables, and technical documentation in varied, inconsistent formats.
  • Develop defensible sourcing recommendations with clear justifications that reflect sophisticated procurement decision-making.
  • Create comprehensive grading rubrics for evaluating vendor comparison, contract reasoning, and bid-analysis performance.
  • Ensure tasks capture the detailed challenges of specialized procurement areas, including IT, industrial, and professional services.
  • Clearly communicate procurement challenges, task context, and evaluation standards in writing and verbally.
  • Collaborate with the project team to review, refine, and validate tasks and rubrics for quality and relevance.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of proven corporate or public-sector procurement experience, including direct responsibility for supplier analysis, bid matrices, and contract negotiation.
  • Expertise evaluating non-standardized vendor submissions and producing detailed comparison matrices.
  • Deep category knowledge in IT, industrial, or professional-services procurement.
  • Exceptional written English and the ability to prepare technical procurement documentation and explain contract rationale.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulatory frameworks, and supplier-evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience creating or assessing complex procurement scenarios or benchmarks is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical judgment, and commitment to high-quality work in demanding technical settings.
Work Terms
  • Remote, independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
  • $30 to $65 per hour.
