Role Overview
Apply your procurement expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for procurement work. You will create realistic, expert-level materials and evaluation standards that help AI models learn to reason through sourcing, vendor assessment, bid analysis, and contract decisions. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and write complex procurement tasks based on real-world scenarios, including RFP drafting, bid evaluation, supplier scoring, and contract negotiations.
- Source, create, and format realistic procurement artifacts, including supplier quotations, specification sheets, pricing tables, and technical documentation in varied and inconsistent formats.
- Develop defensible sourcing recommendations with clear reasoning that reflects sophisticated procurement decision-making.
- Create detailed grading rubrics for evaluating AI performance in vendor comparison, contract reasoning, and bid analysis.
- Ensure tasks reflect the detailed challenges of procurement in specialized areas such as IT, industrial, or professional services.
- Clearly communicate procurement challenges, task context, and evaluation standards in writing and conversation.
- Collaborate with the project team to review, refine, and validate tasks and rubrics for quality and relevance.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of demonstrated corporate or public-sector procurement experience, including direct responsibility for supplier analysis, bid matrices, and contract negotiation.
- Expertise in analyzing non-standardized vendor submissions and producing detailed comparison matrices.
- Deep category knowledge in IT, industrial, or professional-services procurement.
- Strong bid analysis, supplier evaluation, and contract reasoning skills.
- Exceptional written English skills and the ability to create technical procurement documentation and explain contract rationale.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulatory frameworks, and supplier evaluation methods.
- Experience creating or assessing complex procurement scenarios or benchmarks is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical judgment, and commitment to high-quality deliverables in demanding technical settings.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $30 to $65 per hour.
