About this role

Role Overview

Lead and scale the human talent layer that produces high-quality training data for frontier AI. This role owns end-to-end talent operations for high-velocity AI training deployments, including onboarding large cohorts, activating distributed contributor pools, maintaining enterprise client relationships, and delivering clear, data-driven performance reporting. You will operate at the intersection of data, operators, and enterprise delivery, partnering closely with product and engineering to keep operations aligned with evolving model and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and run large-cohort onboarding at scale, delivering fast, clean, zero-chaos activation.
  • Activate and manage distributed talent pools that power AI training and data operations.
  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a reliable delivery and escalation point.
  • Anticipate and resolve operational blockers before they surface, with speed and clarity.
  • Drive customer success outcomes across ongoing AI deployments.
  • Publish weekly performance and milestone reports that prioritize signal over noise.
  • Host community syncs and engagement rituals to keep contributors effective and aligned.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to align talent operations with shifting model and client requirements.
  • Continuously refine onboarding, quality assurance, and retention systems using data and KPIs.
Qualifications
  • Required skills: large-scale onboarding, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, leadership.
  • Exceptional written communication, clear and structured documentation style.
  • Proven operator in remote, distributed environments, with a deep ownership mindset.
  • Comfortable leading and coordinating 100 or more contributors without losing signal.
  • Thrives in ambiguous, high-velocity, iteration-focused environments.
  • Data fluent, experienced with dashboards, KPIs, and performance diagnostics.
  • Preferred experience: human data, RLHF, AI training pipelines, enterprise AI or technical clients.
  • Experience building or scaling data ops or talent ops systems, and familiarity with modern tooling such as applicant tracking systems, analytics, project operations, and automation platforms.

Compensation
  • Listed range for this role: $70K - $110K per year.
  • National base pay range stated in benefits notice: $50, 000 - $70, 000 USD.
  • All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
  • Employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
