No prior AI experience is required, your domain expertise is the primary qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and solve advanced mechanical engineering problems across engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, vibrations, and manufacturing.
- Evaluate and review AI-generated technical content for engineering accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Apply practical engineering judgment to real-world design and analysis scenarios, ensuring realistic and feasible solutions.
- Deliver constructive technical feedback that improves reasoning and output quality of AI models.
- Assess proposed engineering solutions for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Document detailed explanations and rationales for engineering decisions and recommendations.
- Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team, using strong written and verbal communication.
- Required skills: remote collaboration, engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, manufacturing, vibrations.
- Preferred education: MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or BS with 8+ years of related industry experience.
- Experience: 5+ years advancing real-world mechanical design, product development, analysis, or R and D initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering products or mechanical systems through to production.
- Outstanding analytical and engineering problem-solving abilities applied to complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated professional proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Previous involvement in multidisciplinary or remote engineering projects is a plus.
- Role type: Contractor.
- Location: Remote.
- Compensation is output-based, experts are paid per task that meets project specifications, and the time required to complete work may vary by experience and workflow.
- Experts must submit a minimum number of tasks per week, minimum submission requirements apply.
Pay range: $80 to $100 per hour. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets the project specifications. Time-to-complete will vary by task and by expert experience, and minimum submission requirements apply.
Application Process and Start Timeline- Roles are typically filled quickly, often within 48 hours.
- Candidates should be ready to begin work right away; if selected, you are expected to start your first tasks within 24-48 hours of completing onboarding.
- Onboarding is required before starting assigned tasks.
You will contribute subject matter expertise to a project that transforms real-world engineering knowledge into high-quality training data, evaluations, and feedback used to improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform.
