About this role

Role Overview

Apply deep electrical engineering and circuit design expertise to evaluate and solve advanced design problems and to train next-generation AI systems. Your work will improve how models interpret, reason about, and explain complex circuits across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF domains. This is a remote contractor opportunity focused on high-precision technical review, problem solving, and clear technical communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and solve advanced circuit design and electrical engineering problems across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF domains.
  • Review and assess AI-generated technical responses for correctness, engineering quality, and accuracy.
  • Apply practical engineering judgment to real-world design scenarios and theoretical questions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot circuits using techniques such as Kirchhoff''s laws, node-voltage analysis, small-signal analysis, and phasor analysis.
  • Use Thevenin equivalents, Hybrid-pi models, finite state machines, and timing analysis where appropriate to validate designs.
  • Document feedback and provide clear written and verbal explanations to improve AI learning and model performance.
  • Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of experts and project participants.
Qualifications
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or BS in Electrical Engineering with 8 or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, or RF circuit design, including work on hardware that reached production or tape-out.
  • Expert knowledge in analog and mixed-signal design, digital logic, semiconductor devices, power electronics, RF and microwave systems, and control systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex circuits using Thevenin equivalents, Hybrid-pi models, finite state machines, and timing analysis.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor reliability issues, electromagnetic compatibility, and modern CMOS scaling.
  • Required technical skills: circuit analysis, computer engineering, computer architecture, RF and microwave, power electronics, analog and digital electronics.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to collaborate remotely.
  • Professional English proficiency with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred but not required: experience with IC/ASIC design, EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics, PCB design, or high-speed digital and RF system validation.

  • Compensation structure is output-based, paid per task that meets project specifications. Time to complete each task may vary by expert and workflow.
  • Minimum submission requirements apply. Experts must submit a minimum number of tasks per week.
  • Start timeline and placement depend on project availability and needs; roles are filled as projects open.
Compensation

Pay range equivalent to $80 to $130 per hour. Actual payments are task-based and awarded for completed tasks that meet project specifications.

  • Remote collaboration capability is required, including reliable internet and ability to communicate clearly in English.
  • No prior AI experience is required; domain knowledge in electrical and circuit design is the primary qualification.
  • Participation and placement depend on project openings and meeting vetting or qualification checks required by the project.
