Apply deep electrical engineering expertise to help improve how AI systems interpret, solve, and explain complex circuit-design challenges across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF domains. This remote contract opportunity centers on providing precise, real-world technical input that strengthens next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and solve advanced electrical engineering and circuit-design problems involving analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF circuits.
- Review AI-generated technical responses for correctness, accuracy, and engineering quality.
- Use practical engineering judgment for real-world design scenarios and theoretical questions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot diverse circuit types using Kirchhoff''s laws, node-voltage analysis, small-signal analysis, phasor analysis, and other industry-standard methods.
- Provide domain expertise and documented feedback to refine AI reasoning and model performance in electrical and circuit design.
- Write and communicate clear technical explanations that support AI learning.
- Collaborate remotely with distributed experts and project participants.
- Strong skills in circuit analysis, computer engineering, computer architecture, RF and microwave engineering, power electronics, and analog and digital electronics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a remote collaboration environment.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8 or more years of relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, or RF circuits, including work on hardware that reached production or tape-out.
- Expert knowledge of analog and mixed-signal design, digital logic, semiconductor devices, power electronics, RF and microwave systems, and control systems.
- Ability to analyze complex circuits using Thevenin equivalents, Hybrid-π models, finite-state machines, and timing analysis.
- Familiarity with semiconductor reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, and modern CMOS scaling.
- Professional English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with IC or ASIC design, EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics, PCB design, or high-speed digital or RF validation is a plus.
- Evidence of rigorous problem authoring is strongly preferred, such as service on an IEEE, JEDEC, or IPC standards committee; item-writing work for an NCEES or academic qualifying-exam committee; a verified tapeout through a Google or efabless open MPW shuttle or documented industry silicon; or a top placement or team-lead role in the ISSCC Student Design Contest.

- $80 to $130 per hour.
