Apply your engineering expertise to improve how next-generation AI systems learn and reason by analyzing technical documentation, producing precise written feedback, and creating real-world engineering examples. You will contribute subject matter knowledge that becomes high-quality training data and evaluations for AI models. The role supports a unique customer project for micro1, an AI data lab that transforms domain expertise into training and evaluation material.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze engineering documentation, including technical reports, design documents, and project analyses.
- Produce detailed written feedback, technical clarifications, and expert-level commentary on complex engineering scenarios.
- Evaluate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of engineering submissions across multiple disciplines.
- Develop real-world engineering examples and problem sets to ensure AI models understand practical engineering contexts.
- Collaborate with the project team to align deliverables with project milestones and requirements.
- Share industry best practices and technical insights to help improve project methodologies.
- Required skills: engineering documentation analysis, technical report writing, strong written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Preferred qualifications: BSc, MSc, or PhD in any engineering discipline such as mechanical, civil, electrical, or chemical.
- Experience producing technical reports, design documentation, or in-depth project analyses.
- History of presenting complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record of contributing to multidisciplinary or cross-functional engineering projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory compliance, or engineering quality assurance processes is a plus.
Contractor engagement, remote. Work is project-based and involves coordinating with the project team to meet milestones and deliverables. No prior experience in AI is required, domain expertise is the primary qualification.
CompensationPay range: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.
