About this role

Role Overview

Apply advanced mathematical expertise to produce and evaluate high-quality content that helps train next-generation AI systems. This contract role is project-based and fully remote, and it focuses on transforming university-level and research mathematics into precise problems, solutions, and instructional material that improve model learning, reasoning, and performance. Prior experience in AI is not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate complex mathematical content, providing detailed feedback and domain-specific insight for AI model training.
  • Develop and contribute original mathematical problems, proofs, solutions, and teaching materials across undergraduate and graduate topics.
  • Annotate, critique, and refine mathematical datasets to ensure accuracy, depth, and pedagogical value.
  • Draft clear written explanations and instructional content tailored to support AI reasoning and learning tasks.
  • Participate in iterative review cycles to increase the robustness and diversity of mathematical data.
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts and project stakeholders to define and uphold quality standards and subject coverage.
Qualifications
  • PhD in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field, required.
  • Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching or advanced mathematical research.
  • Proven ability to communicate intricate mathematical concepts precisely and clearly, in writing and verbally.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing mathematical work and educational content.
  • Familiarity with contemporary mathematical literature and current research trends.
  • Experience creating learning materials or problem sets for mathematics education is a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity about artificial intelligence and its implications for mathematical discovery and instruction.
Work Terms

Contractor engagement, fully remote. Project-based assignment for a customer, focused on creating and evaluating mathematical content for AI model training. No prior AI experience is required, the role prioritizes domain knowledge and pedagogical skill.

Compensation

Pay rate: $60.00 to $90.00 per hour.
