Apply advanced mathematical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous content review, original problem development, and clear instructional explanations. This remote contract opportunity is designed for experienced academics and research professionals who want to contribute mathematical insight and problem-solving expertise to AI learning and reasoning tasks. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and evaluate complex mathematical content, providing detailed feedback and domain-specific insights for AI model training.
- Create original mathematical problems, proofs, and teaching materials spanning undergraduate and graduate-level topics.
- Annotate, critique, and refine mathematical datasets for accuracy, depth, and pedagogical value.
- Work with subject-matter experts and project stakeholders to establish quality standards and subject coverage.
- Draft and edit precise explanations, solutions, and instructional content for AI learning and reasoning tasks.
- Participate in iterative reviews that strengthen the robustness and diversity of mathematical data.
- PhD in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated university-level teaching experience or advanced mathematical research experience.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts accurately and clearly in writing and verbally.
- Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail when reviewing mathematical work and educational content.
- Familiarity with current mathematical literature and research trends.
- Experience creating mathematics learning materials or problem sets is preferred.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and its implications for mathematical discovery and instruction.
- Remote, independent contractor engagement.
- $60 to $90 per hour.
