Role Overview
Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through accurate, practical, and pedagogically sound subject-matter input. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and refine chemistry content, questions, and real-world scenarios for AI training and evaluation.
- Assess complex chemistry materials and solutions for accuracy, relevance, and clarity, then provide feedback.
- Curate and annotate chemistry texts and problems for dataset development.
- Use teaching experience to make instructional materials accessible and effective for a range of learners.
- Research emerging trends and gaps in chemical education to inform model improvements.
- Participate in collaborative discussions and provide written and verbal feedback to advance project goals.
Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, or near completion of a Chemistry doctoral degree. ABD candidates are considered.
- Undergraduate or graduate-level teaching experience and the ability to explain chemistry concepts clearly.
- Chemical research experience and a record of scholarly publication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with close attention to detail in academic work.
- Familiarity with current chemistry education pedagogy and curriculum design.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams or contributing to educational projects.
- Ability to work independently, manage assignments efficiently, and deliver high-quality remote work.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $70 to $90 per hour.
