Apply advanced physics expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through rigorous scientific content, evaluation, and feedback. This remote contractor role combines physics research, teaching, and clear written communication to support an education-focused project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review physics problems, solutions, and explanatory materials across a range of sub-disciplines.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific validity, clarity, educational value, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Provide high-level feedback on complex research topics and theoretical concepts.
- Work remotely with project leads and fellow subject-matter experts to establish consistent content-review practices.
- Provide concise written feedback and contribute to asynchronous project discussions.
- Use research and teaching experience to ensure deliverables are authentic, rigorous, and educationally sound.
- PhD in Physics, or current pursuit of a Physics PhD with advanced research and teaching experience.
- Expertise in theoretical and applied physics.
- Experience with physics research, teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, scientific publishing, or critical research review.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a focus on clarity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Experience with interdisciplinary projects or educational technology is a plus.
- No prior AI experience is required.

- $70 to $90 per hour.
