Role Overview
Apply your physics research and teaching expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous, real-world scientific content and feedback. This remote contract role supports work at the intersection of physics, research, and education. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review physics problems, solutions, and explanatory material across a broad range of sub-disciplines.
- Evaluate model outputs for scientific validity, clarity, and educational value.
- Provide expert feedback on complex research topics and theoretical concepts.
- Assess and improve AI-generated explanations for accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Collaborate remotely with project leads and subject-matter experts to establish consistent content-review practices.
- Write clear, concise feedback and contribute to asynchronous project discussions.
- Use teaching and research experience to ensure deliverables are authentic, rigorous, and educationally sound.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, or current pursuit of a Physics PhD with advanced research and teaching experience.
- Expertise in both theoretical and applied physics.
- Experience teaching, developing curriculum, or mentoring in academic settings.
- Experience publishing and critically reviewing scientific research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and clarity.
- Experience with interdisciplinary projects or educational technology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $70 to $90 per hour.
