Role Overview

Apply advanced mathematical knowledge to author, review, and refine problems, solutions, and proofs that will be used to train next-generation AI systems. This contract role is remote and focused on producing research-level mathematical content, rigorous analysis, and clear explanations that improve model learning and reasoning. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Author and review advanced mathematical problems, solutions, and proofs across calculus and higher mathematics.
  • Design and analyze mathematical challenges, ensuring clarity, rigor, and correctness.
  • Evaluate and refine mathematical content for inclusion in AI training datasets.
  • Provide technical analyses, explanations, and justifications with research-level rigor.
  • Apply research methodology to develop and verify mathematical concepts and techniques.
  • Communicate complex mathematical ideas in precise, accessible written and verbal formats for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contribute domain expertise to improve AI learning processes.
Qualifications
  • Required skills: research methodology, mathematics, mathematical proof writing, advanced mathematics, and mathematical problem solving.
  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience producing research papers, proofs, or technical analyses in academic or applied settings.
  • Advanced understanding of calculus, mathematical proofs, and advanced mathematics concepts.
  • Exceptional mathematical problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience contributing to collaborative projects or international research initiatives is a plus.
Work Terms
  • Role type: independent contractor.
  • Location: fully remote, candidates may participate from anywhere in the world.
  • No prior AI experience required, domain expertise in mathematics is the priority.

Compensation
  • Pay rate: $80 to $90 per hour.
