Role Overview
Evaluate AI-generated legal analyses in civil legal services, using clinical teaching experience and supervisory judgment to assess issue spotting, legal reasoning, and procedural recommendations across common client scenarios.
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and completeness.
- Assess issue spotting, statutory and case law analysis, and procedural reasoning.
- Evaluate scenarios involving housing, family, consumer, and debt law.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to help improve AI systems and their outputs.
- Apply experience supervising law students and live-client clinics to judge practical and pedagogical quality.
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- Current or previous U.S. bar admission.
- Experience directing or supervising a law school clinic.
- Expertise in one or more civil legal practice areas, such as housing, family, consumer, elder, or disability law.
- Strong legal writing, assessment, and evaluation skills.
- Title experience as a Clinical Professor of Law or Clinic Director.
- Experience developing clinic curricula or assessment rubrics.
- Published scholarship or educational materials related to clinical legal education or practice.
Location: Remote, approximately 15 hours per week, estimated project duration 2 to 3 weeks. This is a short-term, focused engagement requiring availability to complete assigned review tasks within the stated timeframe.
CompensationPaid hourly at $180 per hour.
Eligibility- Must hold a JD and be currently or formerly admitted to a U.S. bar.
- Must have prior experience supervising or directing law school clinics and working with law students in live-client settings.
- Must be able to perform work remotely and commit to the stated weekly hours and project duration.
