Clinical Law Professor for AI Evaluation

Evaluate AI-generated legal reasoning for civil legal services by applying clinical supervision experience, doctrinal knowledge, and legal pedagogy. You will review AI analyses of fact patterns in housing, family, consumer, and debt matters, provide structured feedback to improve system outputs, and draw on your experience supervising law students and live-client clinics. This is a short-term, remote, hourly engagement.

• Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and completeness.
• Review issue spotting, legal reasoning, and procedural analysis in AI outputs.
• Assess factual scenarios involving housing, family, consumer, and debt law.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI system performance.
• Apply experience supervising law students and running or supporting live-client clinics in your assessments.

• Juris Doctor (JD).
• Current or previous U.S. bar admission.
• Experience directing or supervising a law school clinic.
• Expertise in one or more civil legal practice areas, such as housing, family, consumer, or debt law.
• Strong legal writing, evaluation, and analytic skills.

• Clinical Professor of Law or Clinic Director title or equivalent clinic leadership experience.
• Experience working in housing, family, consumer, elder, or disability law clinics.
• Experience developing legal curriculum or assessment rubrics.
• Published scholarship or creation of educational materials.

• Location: Remote.
• Employment type: Hourly engagement.
• Estimated commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
• Project duration: Estimated 2 to 3 weeks.

Pay rate: $180 per hour.

Applicants must hold a JD and have current or prior admission to a U.S. bar. Candidates should have prior experience directing or supervising law school clinics and substantive practice or teaching experience in civil legal practice areas.
