Role Overview
Apply your corporate law expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world legal analysis and feedback. This remote, US-based contractor role supports work involving commercial transactions, contracts, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general counsel issues. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy, enforceability, and compliance with US law.
- Draft, review, and provide feedback on contracts, policies, and agreements using corporate-law best practices.
- Explain complex legal concepts clearly for AI system development.
- Identify and summarize legal issues, trends, and risk areas in business transactions and contract negotiations.
- Contribute practical legal scenarios, case studies, and document samples to improve AI training datasets.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders to clarify deliverables and answer corporate-law questions.
- Deliver precise written and verbal insights that reflect the practical application and nuance of legal language.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
- At least 5 years of corporate, business, or transactional law experience, including M&A, contracts, and risk management.
- Experience as outside counsel, in-house corporate counsel, or a legal consultant to business clients.
- Strong corporate law, contract drafting and review, legal research and analysis, legal document analysis, and US regulatory compliance skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex legal issues accessible to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with US commercial and regulatory compliance requirements and proficiency drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements.
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in technology-driven projects.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement for candidates based in the United States.

Compensation
- $90 to $150 per hour.
