Role Overview
Apply deep corporate law experience to evaluate, draft, and explain commercial, contract, corporate, and M&A materials while contributing real-world legal input used to train and improve next-generation AI systems. This fully remote contractor role focuses on practical legal analysis and clear translation of complex legal concepts into accessible guidance for technical development. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and analyze a wide range of corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy, enforceability, and compliance with US law.
- Draft, review, and provide feedback on contracts, policies, and agreements that reflect corporate law best practices.
- Translate complex legal concepts into clear, accessible explanations intended for use in system development and training data.
- Identify and summarize key legal issues, trends, and risk areas in business transactions and contract negotiations.
- Contribute real-world legal scenarios, case studies, and document samples to enhance training datasets.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders to clarify deliverables and address questions related to corporate law topics.
- Deliver precise written and verbal insights, ensuring nuanced understanding of legal language and its practical applications.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law, including exposure to M&A, contracts, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience as outside counsel, in-house corporate counsel, or as a legal consultant to business clients.
- Proven ability to draft and review a variety of corporate and commercial agreements.
- Required skills include corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, US regulatory compliance, legal risk management, legal research and analysis, and legal document analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex legal issues for diverse audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to apply legal expertise to technology-driven projects.
