In-House Counsel for UK Legal AI Evaluation

Role Overview

Evaluate the quality of AI-generated answers to practical UK law questions, with a focus on commercial and contract matters. You will apply your in-house legal expertise to compare responses and provide clear, rubric-based assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the same legal prompts through two AI language-model platforms.
• Review and compare both responses side by side.
• Score each response using a standardized evaluation rubric.
• Provide concise written feedback for every assessment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as in-house legal counsel practicing in the United Kingdom.
• Strong knowledge of UK law, particularly commercial and contract law.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precise written English.
• Ability to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement for candidates based in the United Kingdom.
• Initial commitment of approximately 10 hours, with potential for additional work.
• All work is subject to a confidentiality agreement.

Compensation

£150 to £160 per hour.
