Hospitalist Physician
Remote contractor role for a Hospitalist Physician contributing medical expertise to a project focused on inpatient care, medical record review, and documentation standards. The work supports AI training by applying high-quality, real-world clinical input to help systems learn, reason, and perform more accurately.
Scope of Work
- Review medical records, including FHIR records, raw medical record data, and clinical notes for AI training.
- Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
- Review inpatient documentation, including History of Present Illness, Past Medical History, assessments, and plans.
- Follow clear guidelines and apply the same standards consistently, including rubric-based review.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
- Share feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.
- Communicate clearly with the project team about work and findings.
Preferred Qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience within the last 2 years.
- Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
- Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
- Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/Quality Assurance is a plus.
- Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is a plus.

Compensation
$70 - $100/hour pay.
