Role Overview
Help shape next-generation healthcare AI by evaluating tools intended to improve end-to-end revenue cycle performance. This remote executive-level role applies deep expertise in revenue cycle operations, payer contracting, financial management, and team leadership to assess AI-generated analyses, recommendations, and workflow solutions that support sustainable financial improvement across healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of patient access, coding, billing, denials, and collections across the full revenue cycle.
- Evaluate AI-generated revenue cycle analyses, operational improvement plans, and strategic recommendations for accuracy and practical feasibility.
- Assess AI tools that automate revenue cycle workflows, identify revenue leakage, and improve payer reimbursement.
- Define and monitor enterprise KPIs, including net collection rate, days in A/R, denial rate, cost-to-collect, and cash collections performance.
- Develop improvement strategies aligned with organizational financial goals.
- Lead managed care contracting strategy and payer relationship management.
- Partner with clinical, finance, compliance, and IT leaders to align revenue cycle initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Present revenue cycle performance to executive leadership, boards, and investors.
- Annotate AI outputs and deliver structured strategic feedback for AI training datasets.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a VP, Senior Director, or equivalent executive leader.
- Comprehensive knowledge of front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.
- Financial management experience, including P&L responsibility, budget oversight, and performance reporting.
- A record of leading large-scale revenue cycle transformation in a health system, hospital, or physician group environment.
- Deep knowledge of managed care contracting, payer relationships, and reimbursement optimization.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, including executive presentations.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and translate complex performance data and AI outputs into strategic recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- HFMA Fellow, CHFP, or CRCR certification.
- Experience with RCM technology platforms and large-scale EHR implementations.
- Experience in private-equity-backed healthcare organizations, health systems, or large physician enterprises.
- Familiarity with AI tools and evaluating AI-generated revenue cycle strategy content.
- Experience leading multi-site or multi-entity revenue cycle consolidation or integration initiatives.

Compensation
